And it'll shoot. Had one flier impact low. Mirage was pretty bad today so that's what I'm blaming it on 140 gr A-max H-4350 CCI 200 Chronoed an average muzzle velocity of 2810 fps. ES of 15 fps for 5 shots. I'm pretty pleased with it.

That's a righty. Waiting on Tony to cut down the new barrel and thread it. Then it'll get a load work-up.

looks nice Smoothest running, hardest ejecting action I've ever operated. 60 degree bolt throw is also very nice.

Why did you pull the 7mm barrel off? I thought you had it running good.

That is a right hand rifle. It was running ok, but slow. So it got an Obermeyer 1:9" twist Rem Varmint. Waiting on it to get cut and threaded then I'll work up a load for it. It's still a 7mm-08. Also getting a Manners T-4

Looks good fireman, I am really thinking about getting one of the new ones as a hunting rifle.

Krylon and Rustoleum. Followed by flat finish cleat coat. Can't cerakote a comp rifle. Barrel will be toast in a couple of years.

Got up at 5 to go to the station. Got outside, checked the weather, called the Battalion Chief to see if there was an available vacation slot. Yup. OK put me down for not being there today.
I shot four rifles today and really wasn't sick of it.

Looks good...I've heard Krylon is worth an extra 10fps over Cerakote anyway

Very nice Jason! And Tikka makes one fine action! Very smooth! So what'd you do with your .260?
Did Tony finally get moved into his new place?
So what four did you shoot? And which one shot the best?
And by the way...you have a very nice place!

2500 +/- rounds on the 260 it 's starting to throw fliers at any range. Gonna sell the action stock and bottom metal. We havn't moved Tony yet. Probably will be next week. Four rifles? One friend's 308 needed zeroing with factory ammo. One friend's friend'd needed load development.Tried a tweak of the load on the 7 Rem Mag to 71.5 gr of Retumbo. Made a 180 Berger in second loaded brass with a .003" bump leave the barrel at 3000 fps Had extractor swipes so I had better not load tjem that hot.
