Custom work or assembling? Sorry if I offend but your query can go both ways.

I hate to volunteer people, but Vern1 puts together a darn good upper. I purchased a 6.8 from him and it is accurate as all get out.

You don't really need any special tools for that handguard. Although an extra pair of hands (buddy) will be handy for manipulating the delta ring and handguard into place.

Chupa is correct. Only tool you'll need is the one to tighten the screws on the rail. Step by step install of that handguard.

as you can see by my pic, there is a difference the one pictured on a 7.62.39 upper, its the trimmest that I have seen and want to get one a 6.8, the delta ring goes away....the above rail IS NOT the same as the one I have pictured...

When you google utg 4 15 handguard, that isn't the handguard that comes up. That is the utg 4 15 Pro and there is a Pro slim. The UTG 4 15 requires no special tools, it's a 2 piece drop in.

If it's the pro slim you'll need some tools then. I never wanted to drop the money on the tools thinking id only use them once but can't even count the times I've used them. I'd just buy the tools and do it myself.
