I will be going out to the lease Sunday to cut some more mesquites down. The temperature is not to be over 80 Degrees. When I spray the mesquite after I cut it down will the Remedy work or will it be to cool for it to do what it needs to do?

As long as the roots and tree are still drawing, it should get you there. Might drill a 1/2 hole into the stump and fill it with the concoction. Add some Diesel and you may get better residual effect too.

If you spray it immediately it will work.

The sharper your chain saw blade the better it will work as well. Think about the elementary school experiment where you take a celery stick and place it in water with food die and watch the dye go up the stalk. A fresh cut works significantly better than just breaking the celery in two. Same thing works for the mesquite ... if you mangle the tree with a dull saw or wack it down with a machete, you crush the openings to the vascular bundles that wick the remedy down to the roots.
