Nee a feeder or two for first lease.
Anyone used the Moultrie pro magnum with the 30 gal metal barrel?

I haven't used the pro magnum, but I've had good use/luck out of the Pro Hunter model for $40. Been running 2 for 3 years, 1 for 2 years with no problems. I will say that they wont take much physical abuse tho, my fault letting one fall & smashed it.

I have been using one with the 55gal and I have had zero issues in 4 years. Still on same battery. Easy to use too

I would buy the parts and make my own feeder. I would buy an All Season feeder 12v control unit with solar and The Timer.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I ended up buying this and wouldn't reccomend it.
Barrel is beat and scratched up pretty good. The feeder motor kit was missing screws and assembled with lose and stripped screws. So I had to take it apart go find new screws and rebuild the whole brand new thing.
Plus this is supposed to be moultries top of the line feeder system and I doesn't include a funnel in the barrel.
Could have gotten something better, quicker, and probably cheaper building it buying locally.

I've been using the 30 gallon Moultrie promagnum for 7 years now without a problem. Usually get about 8 months battery life from the two duracells feeding twice a day.
