No pics, but a buddy had a place in Medina County that he let us hunt. Told us to take the main road and we'd see the cabin right off the road where we could sleep. Said it wasn't the best, but was very good hunting accommodation. Didn't get there until past midnight in late December on what ended up being a record cold night (7 degrees).
The ranch is 2500 acres, so when we pull up to a cabin on the road after driving a couple miles on the ranch road, we park and start unloaded everything. Get inside and it looks like a scene from a horror movie. Floor is broken to the point of open dirt, empty cans everywhere, and most creepily of all, a few children's dolls scattered around. Electricity doesn't work. No running water. We couldn't drink enough to get comfortable, but it's all we have and now it's 2 a.m., so we set makeshift beds and try to sleep - coldest I've been in my life.
The next morning, we get up before the sun and head out to hunt. As the first light of morning breaks the horizon, I look back towards the road...
And see a pristine cedar cabin about half a mile further down the road. Oops. If that had be me, there would have been a new door soon after I heard anything that went "bump" during the night.

Those all look pretty fancy.. I stay in the bed of my truck quite often when im away from the house Spent many nights in the bed of my truck, and a few more in the back seat
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

My first trailer was a Shasta, '73 16 foot. Believe it or not, no mice, ever.

Yes, something tells me they'll look at that photo 20 or 30 years from now and think how great those times were.
