Hancock, Building is looking nice ! Did you find any fixtures to check out yet ? With the layout of the windows, I believe we made the right call, to not include them in the calculations. While they'll provide some daylight, I don't know if it'll be sufficient to eliminate any of the lighting, as is.. Let me know if you need any more info !!

Anyone's 6 Lamp T5 Fluorescent Hi Bay would work for you. I'd love to tell you that it should be one of mine.. LOL But the reality is that they're a commodity type item, and you can use just about any of them. Many times, Elliott Electric Supply will run a special for the Atlas brand @ 99.00 each, plus lamps..

How much did the foam insulation cost you? I'm considering it for my shop.

Tom Brown Construction in Granbury built the shop and SmartSeal Insulation did the Spray Foam. I would highly recommend Tom Brown.

Contractor is finished! Best experience I've had working with a contractor. All the subs were great too. Now I have to get electrical and lighting done.

Are you going to finish the interior walls? I am at the same stage building a shop and was wondering how you will frame out the inside with the foam insulation already there.

I'm going to use 4ft U-panel sections on the bottom. I had purlin set on the floor and at 4ft for this. I'm trying to get my hand on old T&G flooring planks for the 8ft above the u-panel. If I can't find any old flooring or barn wood I may just use T-111 siding or more u-panel. By the time I get done with shelving and peg-board there won't be that much to cover above the 4ft wainscotting.
