I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Dove vs teal is easy.
It's teal vs wood duck that makes me nervous this time of year.
Saw a flock of teal while I was dove hunting on Monday afternoon. Wood duck drake sitting in 3rd.
Doh!
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Sure can, my suggestion is to use a dove whistle to make the doves flare, teal will keep on flying.

I bet some scissor tails paid the ultimate price over the last week plus. Saturday evening had about a dozen sparrows come flying over. 5 seconds later 15 shots went off fairly close to us. Decided to pack it up then...and this wasn't on public land.

It's teal vs wood duck that makes me nervous this time of year.
I'll raise your teal vs woodduck with a teal vs spoonie. At least wood ducks make a very distinctive sound vs any other duck. So I've never actually had that problem with wood ducks. But I guess if they were in a group together somehow I could see that being an issue. I've just never seen it at the places I hunt.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

Teal are tricky vs. the wood ducks this time of year. Wood ducks tend to fly really early and it makes them tough to identify quickly in the dawn light. If you can see them coming you can usually be alright but teal and woodies all ways seem to show up out of no where.

Never had a problem telling them apart. I can see how the teal vs wood duck would be difficult. According to east texas turkey or whatever bigdaddy changed his name its hard to tell a pintail from anything else. Fully plumed spoonie bit the dust one moringing early in the poor light because he swore it was a pintail. Made the rest of us laugh.
