After my son and I went dove hunting I decided it was time to do a field break down of the gun and do a good cleaning. I watched some videos on You Tube and had absolutely no problem taking all part and putting it back together. To tell you the truth it is a pretty simple little gun to clean and I did let my 14 year old son do all of it so he can learn how to do it himself.

We watched the videos and they said to remove the trigger assembly which we did and they said to set it aside and not mess with it. My question is do I do exactly that or is it a good idea to spray it down real good with some gun scrub and let it dry then put it back in? Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated!

Knock the gunk off and shoot some oil on it.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.
