Hey guys looking to purchase a new flatbed. Anyone have recommendations on manufacturers to consider or stay away from? Anyone know a good dealership to deal with in the San Antonio / Hill Country area? Thanks in advance for your input.

Big Tex, Tiger, Kearney. All made in Mt Pleasant. Not sure of dealers but I think prices are fairly set. What size are you looking for?

My vote goes to PJ Trailers. I have a 20' that is very well built, good paint too.

bought a 6x14 last week for my ranger. shopped around and ended up getting a quality made "no brand" trailer from a local dealer. After looking at several name brand ( tophat , big tex, texas bragg) I really couldn't tell a difference and saved abput $300-400.

I'm on my 3rd Big Tex and they have always taken great care of me and the trailers are solid.

WSS outside Burleson, TX. I bought a 6x12ft tandem without the ramp gate from them in January at a very reasonable price!

Texas Trailer Supply, formerly Trailer Man, is in Houston and Austin. Best prices by far.

Do the Texas trailer supply trailers seem to hold up? Seen them on Craigslist.

I just replaced my trailer with a LoadTrail. I had heard of them, but didn't know much about them. I had a Big Tex bought at dealer net, but I had to travel to go get it. I was looking at buying a PJ local until the same dealership told me about the Load Trails. Biggest selling feature to me was the 232 warranty. 2 Years bumper to bumper, 3 years structural and 2 years roadside assistance (even if I have a flat tire). It was also about 20% less than the price I had for the PJ or Big Tex. I've pulled it once and it pulls good. I'll have a big load on it this week and will know more.

The only trailer we buy for our rental fleet is texas Bragg. IMHO it is the second best made trailer with the first being Berlshie.
