Pulled this from one of the camera's we have out. After seeing this I switched the video off on the camera I don't want to spook this buck.

Have lots of pictures of him and pictures from last year.

Beautiful buck! You think the video mode scared him? maybe you just put the camera up and its new to him?

He appears to be reacting to the IR glowing or some IRs make a faint audible sound when they are on. Some of the deer here do the same thing with the TC in just a single pic mode. Others at the same location are bothered by the camera.
He is a great looking buck.

Here is another buck same camera and it looks like it scared the daylights out of him.

Here's a hog at a different location about a mile away and it scared the dickens out of him to. Most of the other hogs don't seem to notice it.

Heck of a buck. They sure don't seem to like that camera.

Going to try. Have to see how it develops. The problem is this particular place is difficult to hunt. These deer are coming off of a place East of us with heavy timber that we don't have rights to (trying!) and we don't have much timber on our side. We also don't have many does showing up almost all bucks so it's possible come later October and November these bucks all but disappear.
This particular quarter section we own is for cattle we didn't expect to have the quality and number of bucks show up here that have.
We put a food plot in here last year and the deer ignored it had pretty much no deer come to it. It was weird.

I would back that camera a little farther away,you can always zoom up to get a better look at pics.

They are noticing the camera for sure. It shows how stupid a sounder of hogs is compared to a single large boar. The deer should get use to the camera after a while. The problem I see is when they get scared and run into something with their antlers and break them.

I bought a black out camera I want to see if they notice it I don't think they will. A little more expensive though.
