That blind style is much more common on the east coast.

Who makes that? Or where did you find it. I cant read the pic you posted and havent been able to find it online? Not my picture. Looks like Hide & Hunt Blinds, Tioga LA. It's old and I found nothing online, so probably no longer in existence. I had saved the picture from a for sale post posted on the forum several years ago in case I wanted to use the idea on a future project. Now that I had a use for it, I contacted the seller recently just in case and found it was available and made an offer to buy it. Probably broke some kind of forum record for time on that purchase. It was for a new one when posted, now years later it is used. My boat is big, so I may or may not have to lengthen the front or back some to fit and it has an old school camo pattern that I may make some changes on too. I like the concept, since it can be folded down I can still hunt layout style if I want as I do now, Or I could adapt it to spring out of the way to shoot. Or leave it up for sculling. Or just to get out of the rain. The width of the framework I think is going to fit my boat perfect. I think it will be a really useful addition to my boat and almost like it was made for it. I'll post pictures of the project after I start it. all I need now is a set of forward facing articulating oars.

Look at 4 Rivers I had one I think 4 rivers blinds are just the side folding doors which would be easy to build on my own, but I already got that covered in that I already use a full layout blind within the layout boat. This blind is more of a forward facing flip top type of blind. I wanted a second blind for more of a sneak boat kind of use where I am not laying down or when a low profile is not needed and still stay concealed. With this blind I could hunt either style on the same hunt.
