Less than normal. Have a nine month old baby girl and another lil girl will be here in December. We don't have many hobbies here in Mississippi thus the close birthdays

As often as I get a chance. There are a couple of organizations that take Disabled Vets hunting. So if an opening arises I try an get on to put a lil meat in the freezer. Gotta buy a house before I can get a deer lease. I am also gunna try public hunting for the first time. Got a nice little gem near Austin.

I will be in Kansas for opening day sept 15 for a week, oklahoma for a week during muzzleloader season, thanksgiving week on texas lease. And probably 90 % of weekend through late jan. If they cot the corn I will be out for about 6 hog hunts in August at night. Sept 1 hunting dove, and bobcat. As much as possible- no Mrs. At home and daughter is very busy during the fall.

In early October I'm joining the ranks of fatherhood... bow season is probably going to be a no show for me and general season will be intermittent at best. Gonna have to make hay while the sun is shining! Probably leave buck hunting up to those that have the time to be patient and do my part at doe reduction whenever the opportunity presents.

your hunting season is gonna be shot for the next 2-3 years, prayers sent.

Opening a brewery and trying to sell my land and possibly tearing down my house and rebuilding...

I've got a dove weekend, a few day trips during bowseason, and that might be it for me unless I can make a guy's culling weekend at a buddy's place.

keep hunting your property until it sells would be my advice.

I definitely will, just saying I've got some interested buyers now, so if it sells, I may not have any options to hunt this year. Combined with the rest of the stuff going on, I'm not going to have time to scout out a new place.

I never hunt hard anymore. Since the quail population declined I don't even have one bird dog anymore. I go deer hunting most weekends to do the cooking and drink beer. I just can't get mad enough at the deer to hunt them too hard. I'll usually kill 2 or three that walk close enough to camp to get shot. That's all the meat I need.

Sounds like do kill a lot of beer. That's gotta count for something, right?

I will be down for the first weekend of dove hunting and might make one more weekend before the end of the season. I will be at the ranch for the whole first week of rifle season hitting it pretty hard then try and make every other weekend through the rest of the season. Hopefully I can work it out to have Thanksgiving and Christmas at the ranch so I can hunt a little more.

I didn't get to hunt much last year because of a project I was on. I am slower at work now so I intend on spending a lot more time in the woods this year!!! I can't wait!

81 more days....81 more days!

I've got a one year old and a soon-to-be three year old. This season will be catch-as-catch-can.

Already planning one trip during bow season, rifle opener, 5-day Nov "Rut" hunt, a mid-December, and maybe after Christmas. Holding out hope for a State Draw hunt this year as well. After that it'll be a trip or two for Spring Turkey.

This should have been my year to go back to the High Country and chase Elk, but that will have to wait until next year.

Newly retired. Plenty of time. More energy now that I'm not giving 60 hours a week to the service of the public. Less on my mind to interfere with good preparation. Less stress in my life because of not working. More time to sling arrows to prepare. New lease full of potential.

I would say I'm going to hunt hard. Harder than I have in years. happy3

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

This is the first year in many years in which I really don't know if/when I will get to hunt much. No elk hunt this year (my partner ditched me), and not sure on whitetail (depends how busy work stays).

Elk season in the panhandle is concurrent with pronghorn which is also concurrent with mulie/WT season

If you'd like to teach him a lesson I'll set you up with a hunt, just send me a blank check and I'll tell you how much before I write it.

I'll be hunting harder than ever... I have two deer leases this year, my normal one and a trophy lease.
