I'm thinking bout taking a trade for my Mathews bow for a ruger m77 7mm mag. What price could I get pretty quick ? Need to be a quick sell . Has a cheaper scope on it. Wood stock and blued action and barrel

You might get lucky. I bought two Ruger 77 and paid $450, wood stocks, clean. 308 & 300 wm. Bigger chance around late October. I have owned several other Ruger 77, and while they are good dependable shooters, none have ever been "tack drivers" in stock condition.

The magnum calibers are typically harder to sell quickly and usually not as high of a price.

Depends on the condition. To get your $500 out of it the gun would have to be pretty much new and still have the original rings with it. Cheap scopes don't add a thing to the overall value to a serious hunter. To someone just looking for a gun set up and ready to roll it might add a little something to the value though.

Also tang safety vs the wing safety will add a little to the value for some people. It don't mean squat to me but for some people it means a lot.

I'm going to try my luck raffling it off at work and hopefully I can get some money out of it. He's also throwing in a Lincoln welder so why not.
