Just spent 6 days down in Argentina. Waterfowl paradise. I never experienced the "good Ol days" but I would imagine it was something like what still exists down there today. We had 7 hunters at the particular lodge we were at 1.5 hours outside of Buenos Aires. We all shot VERY GENEROUs limits every morning and afternoon. Ramsey and I took one afternoon to go black buck hunting. The largest free range herd of black bucks in the world resides one hour from the lodge. The food was fantastic and the lodging was just a good solid duck camp lodge.

Next big secret, chile (much, much, much less pressure) Although, the rapid devaluation of the argentian currency makes it good again.

Beaver, you'd be surprised what else is out there. If we can make things work there are definitely a few more secrets out there.

Duckboogieman, they have reversed seasons from us. They are wrapping up their winter. It was upper 30s in the morning and the high was low to mid 60s everyday.

REQ, it's not legal to take them out of Argentina. Wish I could've, we encourage clients not to try it. It's complicated.

But it doesn't stop me from going. Best duck hunting in God's green earth.

That looks like an outstanding trip. Someday I will make the trip. I just can't go without my wife and I don't have $12,000 for both of us to go.
