There is a guy I know selling a Mossberg .270 100ATR with a Nikon 3x9x40 scope for $300. Includes case and strap.

Is this a nice rifle? I know Mossberg makes good shotguns. but what about rifles?

He said he bought it last October (2005) and has shot about 20 rounds through it.

I'm left-handed, and this rifle is only available right-handed, but it seems like a pretty solid if unspectacular rifle.

I've read several reviews of them, written by actual owners, and the comments are overwhelmingly positive. If they made a left-handed version, I'd buy one.

They sell new at Wal-Mart for about $244--with a Nikon scope, the $300 price tag is pretty good.

For that kind of money give it a try, if ya don't like sell it . I'm sure it will shoot or they wouldn't be selling them.

From what I have read they are good guns. I almost bought one after the season was ending, but of course I bought another remi. Sound like a good price with the scope.
