Most of those are to slow for common calibers and used on 50 cal. and 20mm. They can be used in magnums with heavy bullets but velocity will suffer. Also some are prone to spike pressure when approaching useful loading velocity. Be very careful and do your research on these surplus if you go that way. See if you can get any loading data from dist. and check here for several thread on de mil powder.
