Went home to Michigan a couple weeks ago to see my mom. Took this pic of my old swimming hole, a rock quarry that is spring fed. Water is perfectly clear, although a little chilly.



One of my oldest friends with his personal best Pike. 36" 12.5 pounds. Not from the same swimming hole. grin

I went swimming in some spring fed rivers while in FL there is nothing more refreshing IMO. Like stated it is pretty cold at first but sure is refreshing once you catch your breath.

Sorry Western, the pike was not in the hole. That was caught in the river my mom lives on. Just some tiny bass in the hole.

MSU that is in the UP off of hwy 134 on the way to Cedarville. Just a couple miles off of I-75. If you didn't know it was there you could pass right on by without seeing it. By the way, I went to MSU.
