I didn't have 1000 dollars to spend but I wanted something that was quick enough to take moving photos without a blur, and to take clear photos at further distances. The guys suggested the nikon p530. It was in my price range and they said it would do what I wanted. I'm pretty happy with it. These shots are between 30 and 40 yards out

Your pics are looking good Eric. Try working with the custom settings and shooting in morning or evening. pretty soon they will start looking like this.
