Hey guys, I need some ideas on some different plants/shrubs that work well in Texas for my front yard at the front of the house. Any pics or info would be appreciated.

Chaste Tree
Mexican Fan Palm
Red Yucca
Yucca glauca or elata

Spiraea
rose of Sharon
the typicals of I want a texas shrubbery.....texas or purple sage, nandina, indian hawthorne...etc...
Salvia
Lantana
potato vine (purple or green)
wandering jew (purple or green)
purple fountain grass
oak leaf hydrangea (shade, but awesome plant)

An awesome setup I enjoy it a chaste tree front and center, your focal point, they are beautiful, flanked by some fan palms and red yucca, maybe a purple fountain or two with some various colors of lantana down low......great color contrasts, varying heights and one of those types that craves full fun and says, excessive heat warning...whatever and doesn't require much watering at all......

It's hard to feel sorry for someone with one leg who shoots themself in the foot.

Big shrubs and small trees good for focal point on the corners and front door. Little Gem magnolias, Nellie r stevens holly, crepe myrtle in natchez (big white), Hollywood juniper. Fill in plants dwarf burford holly, knockout roses, indian hawthorns, lantana, dwarf yaupon holly. Nana nadina, Loropetalum, texas sage. These all are easy to grow and most are low maintenance.

For pictures google is your friend. These are my favorites.
