Went to Waco Motorsports yesterday to talk fishing boats. While waiting for a sales guy I wandered around and looked at the vast array of 4wheelers they had. There were some whoppers that had 1000 cc engines. Mostly CanAm's and Arctic Cat's. Those 1000 cc machines were huge. That just looks like overkill to me, and for the price you could get a UTV. My old Yamaha Big Bear 400 is all I really need, though I will admit that if it died I'd go with a Grizzly, I think.
One of the monster ATV's had a speedometer that went over 100 mph. Really!
Not my monkeys, not my circus...

More for the "go big or go home, more money than sense" crowd. 100 mph on a 4 wheeler is just dangerous and ridiculous.
If somebody is gonna buy them, somebody is gonna sell them.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

The actual top speed on them is a hair over 80 mph.
For those that do some hard core mud riding, you need the power that those large 1000cc motors put out to turn the hardcore 32" mud tires.
God has a plan and something special in mind for all of us. Do you know the direction that God wants to send you?
