I've never seen a badger except on TV. I think it would be cool.

It has been a while, but I snare them occasionally. I'll hang on to one if it doesn't get too messed up by the snare. Heck last year I got four of them boogers and only had one mounted. There may still be some around, they are cool mounts.

No problems whatsoever with what you are asking for, as I think they are an amazing animal and a mount would look very cool, but a badger is one think I don't think I would pull the trigger on.
I have no issue with people killing them for whatever their reasons. To me they are simply one of the neatest animals around. A giant, fat, ground dwelling weasel that will take on something twice its size.
When you finish it please post photos of the mount.

I've only seen one in Texas. I was at the ranch last year ( 6 miles north of Cisco) waiting on a deer to show when one big sucker ran about 10 yards in from of my blind, I was shocked, I sure wasn't expecting that. I have never seen him again.

Usually trap a few each year, an I should have some customers bring me quite a few as well. If I get a nice one and your still looking around dec or so I'll keep you in mind.
