That's cool! I have spent countless hours on the water and never seen that (only in pics). One year on Fork I did see about a 9 pounder try to eat a good size Bar Fish (AKA Yellow Belly). The Bar Fish got sideways in her mouth and got lodged in her gills and she died. Also had about a 8 pounder try to steal a 10" Crappie that I was reeling in one time.

Never seen Bass on Bass crime though.

So I guess it isn't a hate crime then.

I was gonna try and separate them if they were still alive but they was long gone.

Pretty cool. Never seen that either. Oddest thing I have seen a bass try to eat was dove hunting. One of the guys hit a dove and it landed in the water. An 8lb bass came up and tried to eat it...didn't work out too well for the bass

I don't think those bass were trying to eat each other but rather trying to eat the same food and one ran into each other's mouths. I saw this happen at bass pro when they were feeding them one time. Pretty crazy seeing it happen

me and a buddy of mine were fishing in college on Lake Sunset in college and kept seeing a pretty good size fish come to the water. we finally got close enough we dip-netted a 7lb bass that had tried to swallow a 1.5 - 2lb bass. he got about a quarter of him down, because when i pulled it out of his throat that part was already digested. no doubt the bigger fish was headed to its demise as well.

I witnessed 2 catfish in the same predicament once. The larger of the 2 was probably around 25-30 lbs, they broke apart as we approached in the boat.

I caught a 1.lb bass once on a 11" worm that had a 1/4 bass 3/4 swallowed.

Cool pic! We were crappie fishing at Hubbard Creek when I was little and found a striper floating near death with a crappie half swallowed. Pretty crazy.

Had a big bass hit a crappie I had on the line a few years back. It was only about 4 or 5 feet from the boat and the bass exploded out of the water! It was pretty amazing but he did spit out the crappie...

He must have been reallllly hungry

I found two like this on Amistad years ago. One was around 8 and the other 2. Both were still moving until the fillet knife finished with them.

That gives a new meaning to "you are what you eat"
