Hello all, Sitting over here in this terrible country they call Kuwait. I had a little free time. So with some dumpster diving, some back alley deals for glue and paint, and precut heads sent over. I whipped up a couple decoys. Nothing special, they will never see water because of the crappy materials I got my hands on. But, it passes the time and brings a little bit of back home to this place for me.

Nice. Why not throw them in the water and let them bring in some birds?!?

Nice. Why not throw them in the water and let them bring in some birds?!? The glue is for interior and the paint is bascially whatever I could get my hands on. I'm afraid that if they sit in water to long they will start to fall apart.

I happen to know that there used to be green heads that wintered around Tikrit. I've heard they opened the limit up on ISIS too. You could make a productive trip out of it.

That is cool, but not as cool as what you do for me each day. Thank you.

As long as any wood is sealed up with something (few layers of paint, sealer, whatever) even crappy paint should be ok in water after cured about 30 days. If they're your first decoys, might as well hunt them once before you relegate them to the shelf. I have a rule that every decoy in my possession gets hunted once, even if it's only once
