I loved this, hilarious!
Too many people with kids don't lock up their guns. And they WILL find them. This was a humorous way to prove that point.
Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?

Funny. And not funny when a kid finds a gun that should be locked out of reach. As far as other messages go, there's too many to mention. But it's different and funny enough to remember so I would have to say very effective for the purpose intended.

Great ad. With two curious grandchildren and their friends my guns have always been locked up in a safe, including my grandson's BB gun, but there are so many that are not. The message was spot on, it they find it, they will play with it. Presentation catches your attention in a humorous way and it is memorable.

I must say how times have changed though. As kids growing up from toddlers on, guns were as common in our homes as cell phones are laying around the house today. In my house or any of my friends houses guns were piled behind every door, laying on counters, hanging on open gun racks in the living rooms, they were literally everywhere. We never thought twice about messing with them or playing with them, they were no big deal, they were boring to us actually. "Unless we decided to grab a 22 and go plinking or rabbit hunting" we never had an accident, a robbery, a death, a shooting, nothing.... Oh the good old days. And you can bet we didn't go sneaking through moms stuff!! LoL

And you can bet we didn't go sneaking through moms stuff!! LoL Back in the days of common sense and when kids understood what "No" meant. We were taught gun safety from early on and knew not to touch what we were told not to. Sadly even if your kids learn these basics, chances are the children of others haven't, so today, keep things locked up. The one biggest parenting mistake today, is giving small children choices. It's proven by psychologists that small children are not equipped to make choices. Teach them yes and no, and when they get older, give them small things to choose from....

I give my grandchildren the same choices I gave my son. "Do you want a big glass of milk or as little glass of milk?" Guided choices to learn.
