Left Wed morning to pick up my travel trailer for vacation but got a little work in while we were there. Moved another camper, awning and carport from the old lease camp to the new. Only 3 miles away but a lot of work for 3.

Had to get creative to put up the white trash awning without taking it apart.

Caught this bull snake during the raising of the awning, he was moving across camp to another trailer. This is a friends son who I've been taking hunting and fishing for several years. He wanted a pic to show the ladies he wasn't scared.

Cool pic of the weather, nice temps and grateful for the rain.

Finally finished about 930 pm and got the light up for cooking.

Finished yesterday morning after another rain shower and hit the road home at 2pm. Tired is an understatement.

It's nice and green there but lots more rain needed. Also filled 2 feeders during the trip. Lots of work left but love doing it.

Interesting screen name. Looks like work. Just left that county due to lack of rain the last three years. Dry tanks and animal numbers at rock bottom.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Our place has several wells and the rancher fills the pond pretty regular so its not been without water in several years. We still have decent numbers of deer and hogs and I'd say the water is the reason. The pump broke last Jan and the rancher has yet to fix it but says he will, we will see I guess.

Nice. Is that an Airstream? If so, what year and model?

Its an 1971 Avion Imperial which I've heard was a close second to Air Stream. It is solid as a rock. I bought it for 400 bucks from another guy just trying to dump it and spent a bit to get the water heater and plumbing replaced. We call it the bullet. Feels like you step right back into 1970 when you go thru the door. It's not pristine by anymeans but water tight, warm and most everything still works except I don't have any 8 tracks to play on the stereo!

Very cool! We have a newer one and it's what we take to our place. Definitely provides a good home base from which to launch attacks on critters. Have a good season!
