He never told me exactly where he killed him. My guess is somewhere between throckmorton and haskell. He's lived all over that area...haskell, throckmorton, graham, knox city...doing odd jobs and construction. And that deer has never been scored....doesn't hunt much anymore. He spends all his time in a tube fishing for crappie on lake throckmorton and lake woodson.

Your uncle also killed a huge mule deer that is there in the diner. Do you know what that Mulie scored? We have had several breakfasts there in that diner. Have you experience the Saddle Blanket pancakes there? Wow you better be hungry!

OH yeah i've had them! and the fried biscuits....Lord i'm hungry now!
I know the mulie you're talkin about, but if he was the one that killed it he didn't tell me. Do you hunt that area? I go out there alot but only hunt birds and hogs....out by Weinert just past the Swenson. I do all my deer hunting up in Childress.

Great lookin' buck and that flying bobcat cracks me up. Too cool.
When he was young, I told Dale Jr. that hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible. Dale Earnhardt
