Leftover tags go on sale 7/1/14. We have ground in unit 18 that can also be hunted with Unit 16 tags. 435 leftover tags between the two units. They will go fast! Tha link below gives particulars of the hunts. I am offering a Muzzleloader or Archery hunts. Realistic chances on bucks between 130" and 160"+. Mature bucks only, no trophy fees. Can you buy leftover tags for muzzleloader season or are they all bow only when you buy the leftovers?

A good question. I thought that you could do either, but now I'm kind of unsure. Just tried to call Kansas Parks wildlife but they have gone for the day. I will check again tomorrow and let you know. Thanks for the question!
If Anyone else knows the correct answer feel free to pipe in in the meantime.

Just called KDWPT. You can purchase leftover tags for any season/weapon. It's strictly a numbers deal.
