I am wanting to get a good electronic call for coyotes. I have had a few cheap ones with no luck. I do use a mouth call and sometimes i build confidence and call ina few animals then i will go on a streak of not seeing anything. Want a good caller also so i can let my dad borrow it. Any help would be great guys. Was looking at Foxpro Wildfire last year but wanted to know if anything new was out

I picked up a Wildfire earlier this spring. So far it has been good, used it several times and have called one in.

Good deal. I was also looking at the western rivers calls. Hoping more people would have an idea of what is best. Thanks for the input

The term "best" is subjective and seems to get a lot of people fired up around here. What is "best" for me may not be "best" for anyone else. Therefore, my opinion on a good caller is the Foxpro Wildfire 2. I had used a Johnny Stewart PM 4 previously. I switched to the Foxpro because you can add calls to the caller in mp3 format, take out what you don't like, put in what you do. The JS, although a good call, was expensive to run as any new sounds came on a sound card at around $15 to $20 a pop. I have not had any trouble with mine but have read that Foxpro CS is top notch. It is also made here in the good old U.S. of A. JMHO

It's not a matter of IF you'll get a FoxPro, it's a matter of WHEN you'll get one.

I picked up a FoxPro Firestorm from Cabelas for $250 from the Bargain Cave. It seems that most people end up with a FoxPro at some point so I figured I would start there for my first e-caller.
