Possum Kingdom area hogs. We saw around 50 hogs in total and took 10 of them. Flir scout PS32 thermal scanner ( that I rented from Bearclaw on this forum)FAQ My bud and I with our AR-15's +Green kill light ----------------------
* One “Aw-Sh*t” wipes out ALL “At-A-Boys” The difference between shooting and soothing is one "H"'s placement.

Nicely done!
Man, I want to rent a thermal hand scanner but that would be a mistake financially. I just know they are out there and regular night vision can't see 'em!

So that's where all my hogs went... You'll love the LD19S. We had one at the night vision gtg a couple of weeks back. It has a better display than the PS 32. Very nice and affordable. I think they will sell a ton of those.

Nicely done! What did you think of the PS32 for scouting?
I have one and feel that it changed hunting for me, but maybe you have a different opinion. Just curious. You may or may not like it specifically, but I think the technology is solid and it looks like you were successful.

It made my hunts x10 better, every time I rented it. I loved it so much I just bought my own. I just received a Pulsar LD19S and I'm excited to use it.

Please give us a review of the LD19s after you get some use out of it!

I will post a review, and I turned it on during the day, but I everything is heated by the sun, so there is a lot of heat in the picture, but it still works the same. Thermal doesn't see light, only heat, so it works either way.

Regarding the Pulsar LD19S, I see that it's 9 Hz and the HD19S is 30 Hz and only $300 more. Is the cost difference worth the upgrade?

That depends on the user. If $300 bucks isn't all that much to you, the smoother motion of the 30 Hz is easier on the eyes. You will get the same image with either product, but the 9 Hz image will be a bit jumpy with motion. Sorts like seeing every, say, 3rd frame or so... It can be a bit odd until you get used to it... It does the job it was intended to do... Hope this helps...
