Came across this rifle today at the Abilene Gun Show. Did a little trading and wound up with a new Remington SPS Tactical 308 with threaded muzzle. It is going to be nice when I get my "can". Come on ATF, hurry up, you already cashed my check.

Congrats on the new rig. I've got the same gun and love it. I haven't had a chance to shoot it since I got my can though. I have an AAC 762-SDN-6.

I have replaced the stock with an HS-Precision stock that was pulled from a R700-5R and replaced the trigger for a Timney.

So far mine has liked my 168gr AMAX and Hornady Match HPBT handloads but I want to try some heavier loads also.

I have the same gun in 300BLK. So accurate and shots the same with or without a can.

I also have an AAC coming. I played with the trigger last night and have it set pretty sweet. I have a bunch of 150gr ammo and a sweet load of 125gr BTs I'll be trying in the gun. I'll get the scope mounted today, Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x50, on it and hope for a calm day soon. Was going to put my ATN gen 3 on it but that's setting on the RRA 6.8 and dialed in. Here piggy piggy. It will have to rain a bunch before they show back up.

Hate to be the dummy here, but what is a can and what does it do? Man, you guys are lucky to have so much "gun money". I'm still stuck with and old Remington model 742 in 30/06 and a 1100 shotgun.

Suppressor , makes things much quieter
