Had a great hunt with Erik this past weekend, and we were able to connect with a well known buck we named "Bobby Brows". Bobby Sported 33" beams with 14" brows and 10" caudals. I will let Erik chime in for the details of the hunt. Congrats again!

** For those interested in booking your axis hunt we still have a few spots left for $2800.**

Thanks again CP. We hunted pretty dang hard for this guy. The hunt started when i went out a few weeks ago and the Axis just would come out. We hunted hard for a couple days Easter weekend and then I came home to be with family. I went back Friday night and we were able to connect. We got out in the blind pretty early as we thought rain was going to come so we wanted to be out there in time. We sat in the blind for a while and then Bobby Brows showed himself with a few more axis. He walked close but not in a good shot path then he went into some trees and CP said he was going to come out at about 200 yards and CP would try to stop him. Well the wind was in our favor so Bobby couldn't even hear CPs whistle so he just kept on walking. The good news was.. He never came out the back side of the wooded area, he was still down there. Looking back on this, it was good because i had the shakes pretty bad on the first sighting of Bobby. We waited for about 30 minutes and the protein feeder went off. We were covered up in black buck and then all of the sudden he came out on a mission. Started chasing all the black buck off and I was able to put a good shot on him. He ran about 60 yards and piled up. I have been waiting for some Axis meat for 3 years now and finally connected.

Thanks CP for a great hunt and hard work to get me on this buck. A lot of monster axis left out there and some good black bucks. As most of you THFers know, CP can get you on some great animals and will work his tail off to get you the one you want. Do not hesitate to book with him. See you again in the fall my friend.
