Who here purchases varmit hunting DVD's????? My brother and two of his friends are trying to get in the business of making varmit hunting DVD's, and I should have a teaser clip soon. I have seen the clip and it is AWESOME!!!! They have good equipment and are currently rounding up sponsors right now. If I remember correctly they have about 50 hunts taped(always working on more ) all with very close kill shots. They have everything from Bobcats, Coyotes, Grey and Red Fox, and Ringtail cats. They are very good at what they do, and are pretty pumped up about their up coming DVD. All of the hunts vary with different guns such as 22-250, 243, 17HMR, and Shotgun. If any of yall do purchase varmit hunting DVD's what kind of hunts do you like to see??? Day or Night??? White or Red Light??? I would love to here any feedback on this, so I can let them know

Personally I like to see both day and night. As far as light, it doesn't really matter. Don't fill the vid up with too much extra talking in the field or anything like that.
Videos I like:
Predator Pursuit/Texas predator pursuit-fast action, not too much talking, good tips and education.
Operation Predator- not as good, but still faster paced and decent tips
Burnham Brothers' Catastrophe- great shooting, lots of good footage, some good tips and not too much extra crap. They could've taken out some of the slow motion kills but other than that it was great video.
Not so much:
Randy Anderson- quality is good and they have some good info, but they talk way too much. And they show too much of each hunt. Stick to a few minutes only. We don't need to see you sit down, take out your call, and then 4 minutes of you calling over nothing.
Knight And Hale- just bad. Didn't even finish it.
Hope that helps, I haven't seen a ton of vids but that is what I think about some different ones. I'll tell you the Predator Pursuit series is just great.

LOVE Randy Andersons stuff & Verminators ( http://callingcoyotes.com/ )great dvd's there, we have just about all his stuff..even from before Primos started sponsoring him There was a night hunting DVD we bought (forgot the name) wasnt that good at all. Catastrophic is a GREAT bobcat dvd. Drury has a few out, they are ok..we did like a part on #2 I think where they did some trapping segments & tips. http://allpredatorcalls.com/ has lots of hunting dvd's also

I prefer daytime video's and nighttimne hunting!
I still have somebodys Catastrophic, and I think it sucks because cats don't get that stiff that quick. I think some of the cats had been dead awhile. jmo

note to self, snag something from Maggie and th' rat, they won't come looking for it for a while. I've got all of Byron South's and all of the Predator Persuit videos. I have several others too, but prefer the ones that have mostly Texas hunts in them. Daytime for me, that's how I roll.

I haven't seen all of Randy's vids, just "Truth: Calling all coyotes" or whatever those two are called. Haven't seen Byron Souths either.
Yes, 209 I did like the quality of the Predator Pursuit series, especially the latest.

Oh! And the Predator Pursuits have some great bloopers, like a coyote coming to life while they were carrying it! Funny stuff...

Me and my friends are big fans of the Randy Anderson Videos. Calling all Coyotes etc...we own most of them between our group of huntin buddies. I don't recall them havin too many night hunts though that would be a cool addition as long as the footage is good.
