I have some venison steaks left in the freezer that are labeled loin steaks (they have a bone in them). I've always used the tenderloin to make chicken fries out of, but it goes pretty fast. Is there any reason not to remove the bone, tenderize them and fry them up?

Take a meat tenderizer hammer and get busy it won't hurt a thing. Will be some good eating. Put salt and pepper in flour dredge in flour then milk then back in flour then in hot grease.

You will find that the bone helps to keep the meat more tender and more flavorful. Of course what you do with them depends on if you want them bone-in or boneless. Just remember that you need to add moisture and/or fat.
