My boards are starting to rot out in the expansion joints in my back patio and driveway. I'd like to replace them with some of this new rubber gasket product like Trim-A-Slab or some such.
Anyone ever used this type of product? Thoughts?

Get some treated furring strips at Home Depot . Thin them down on a table saw if need be.

We used a product that was mixed and poured into a clean out expansion joint. It was self-leveling. When cured it was like a caulk joint only much tougher. Very clean looking when done. I do not remember the name of it though.

SL-1. It comes in the big tubes like caulking and its self leveling.

If you’ve got kids think of the expansion joint as yourself and the concrete pads as your children- queue memory of standing between two kids as they try to tear each other apart. Well, this is how I feel sometimes with my daughters.

Remove everything from the joint. Wire brush the sides and blow out. Install closed cell rod. Prime the side walls. Dam the ends with rod or caulking. Use self leveling sl-1 or Sl-2.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?
