Very nice. I would have never thought to perm attach a fake suppressor to get past 16". Mine will be a similar setup except without suppressor. Going with the Manticore Arms triangle stock to get the triangle folder look & functionality without gunsmithing. I was also going to pick up one of the Primary Arms micros. What do you think of it? I wish it was a QD mount that would allow to switch between red dot and irons quickly. QD mount for an AR is way to high.

I tried to like them and adjust them with an AK sight tool,but they are not very good at all.You will see this,and probably just decide on a dot for all your shooting.The dot when I had it mounted on the handguard was so much more consistent that I said to hell with these iron sights( and I shoot irons on my other AK's and AR's quite often.

what is the red dot u have Not sure if you are asking me or not,but mine is a Primary arms micro dot.Has the dial on the left with removable base.

Thats where a fake suppressor will be tricky. Its aluminum so welding will take more care to cover the pin.

If I wanted an AK-M I could always go get one. SBR'd AK just doesnt appeal to me like it did when I bought the gun.

I am starting to think I just want a pistol. Learn to shoot from a bungee sling and cherish the portability!
If I wanted an AK-M I could always go get one. SBR'd AK just doesnt appeal to me like it did when I bought the gun. Thought about it too but I've shot AK pistols with sling and it's not all that fun and very awkward. In fact, I've been to a couple of shooting ranges that wouldn't allow an AK pistol on anything other than their pistol range.

I found a good deal on some underfolder stocks and am thinking about pin/weld the fake can on and doing an underfolder. My M92 is the newer one with the serial number up front on the left side of the rec so no worries cutting into it with the pivot trunnion hole.
Thoughts?
I could still shoot it as a pistol with it folded utilizing the sling mount above the pistol grip.

I could still shoot it as a pistol with it folded utilizing the sling mount above the pistol grip. IMHO, spend the $200 and forget about fake perm attached can. If you want a real can, spend another $200. Reminds me too much of a 2wd truck with 6" lift and mud tires.
