What is the best thing to clean & polish the brass on a Henry Golden Boy?

They are plated on top of a alloy reviever I would not polish it with anything

6% IPA with a soft, lint free cloth...leaves no residue.

I bought a used one that had a lot of scratches in it. Found out there was no way to polish/repair it except to replace the plated alloy receiver which is called brasslite by Henry. A good wax like Renaissance wax would ideal.

A friend of mine had one. He used Flitz to keep it clean & shiny.
