Looking at getting the triple crown and wanted to get some feedback from guys that have run it. Not really looking for recommendations outside of it just real world experience.

Triple Crown is an awesome call. I also have the triple thang. I like the triple crown for large geese and less aggressive calling. The triple thang I use for smaller geese and making a lot of racket. You can't go wrong with any of them

If you can run it, it's one bad azz call! The triple crown guts are sweet in any grounds call. I know you said your not looking at any other call but if you want a good "hunting" call go with the G Overhauler.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I appreciate the mention of the difference in the hunting call versus the triple crown. I just didnt want the thread to turn into a "hey check out this call" kind of deal. Dropping that kind of money on a call I really like to get as much specific info as possible. Why do you recommend the wood over the acrylic?

Tim Grounds advised me to go with the burnt hedge for hunting because it just produced a goosier natural sound. You'll get way more range from the acrylic but I personally wanted the call to work greater nice and close. Call Tim and him or Hunter will let you hear anything you want man.

Thanks for the help guys. Ended up ordering the overhauler in the high voltage color after talking to hunter. Pretty excited to get a hold of it and get to work. Turns out this is a new color so the one I get will be signed and numbered around number 12 I think.

I spoke with Hunter or a while about how I call and what the call is for so hopefully it will be somewhere close when I get it.
