Howdy! New to the forum. Been hunting deer, turkey, coyotes, hogs, dove, ducks, and basically anything since I could walk! Love bowhunting, I'm a Mathews guy.
Looking forward to talkin' bout it all!

Pull up a seat and wear tall boots because it can get pretty deep in here. Welcome to the forum.

Your initiation to the club requires you to elaborate on your views of the following topics: - High fence ranches - Antler restriction laws - Indian corn as an attractant and since you're a bow guy.. - Crossbow use during archery season

High Fenced Ranches- I work on one. Good for people wealthy enough to own them or hunt on them. Opportunity to shoot huge deer or exotics. I like the exotic side of it, since it gives people a less expensive alternative to actually going to another country. I wouldn't say it's very sporting, especially on smaller properties. Too many high fence ranches, and the price of hunting will be too high for the average person. (me) The managing side of it is great cause I don't have to worry about hogs/coyotes or emigration on the property. Prefer to hunt free-range, but managing high fence is definitely fun.
Antler Restrictions- I'm a fan. Keeps yearlings and some 2.5's from being killed. Can be frustrating when a mature shooter has the high and tight genes though. Gives me a little more confidence knowing young bucks I pass aren't gonna hop the fence and get shot. (I'm sure that's a great topic, too.)
Indian Corn- I'm not very familiar with this topic, so don't have much for you. Never used it.
Crossbow use- Not really for or against it. I don't use one, but that doesn't mean someone else shouldn't. I think they're great for younger kids, elderly, or injured people that cannot draw a bow but still enjoy slingin' arrows. If they're accurate with it, good deal! To each their own on this one.
Hope I didn't step on too many toes! LOL thanks for welcoming me!

What type truck you drive? What do you think of pitbulls? What do you think of dogs there are running loose on land you hunt or own? How tall are you and do you own a magnum caliber? Do you tip at Sonic? What do you think of the BLM?

Chevy. Good if they're trained right. I hope there aren't dogs running loose on my land. 5'10" and you'll have to ask my girlfriend about that one. Yes I tip at sonic but don't go crazy. Bad.
This is kinda fun, I've been missing out.

Not to be specific, but which side of town is the ranch you're managing? Just curious if you're my new neighbor. I'm south of Bluff Dale.
