 out smarted by a racoon??

My creep feeder for my cows has been getting hit by raccoons, I've trap 4-5 in a catch live trap
now it seems like the one left is outsmarting the trap, first he would take the bait can out so wired
then he flipped the trap on its side, so secured the trap. But now some how he is still getting the food
any ideals???? This morning the food is gone and trap has been set off, yesterday food gone trap still set??
HELP...LOL

get a dukes dog proof trap it will take care of him This should work. I have also put fish hooks in bait tied to the trap they try to grab it and go just like a fish...

get a dukes dog proof trap it will take care of him This or you or a friend camp out at the feeder and pop the lil bugger when he comes around.
Iv got hogs an can show you a good time.

I set leg traps and coon hand traps,,, they second works best
something about sticking their hands in a tube,,, they can't resist with their nosy nature
bait used were nuts(cashews, peanuts) or shrimp, sardines

THANK YOU Cabelas in Allen TX carry Dukes and Badger Dukes are $19.99 Badger T3 are $17.99 they both look exactly the same Duke is a solid tube, Badger is folded/formed tube

Not sure if they are sale at the store, but Cabelas online has the dukes dog proof traps on sale for 16.99 right now. Just checked, online only price.

Haha a racoon recently messed up a school experiment by getting into some chicken livers we were using to study decompisition!

I'm catching a small one every 3-4 days, but there is one that can still get the food
with out setting off the trap. UPS should be bringing the traps some time next week...
