Howdy

My brother in law and I are looking for a dove lease in the Austin area. His lease just cancelled on him because of new housing developments going in the place of the dove fields. We would both prefer the north Austin area. Let me know if yall know of any place.

I hunted a place called Elm Creek Hunting Inc. about 9 miles east of Belton/Temple that they put a lot of effort into to bring in the birds. It's about an hour drive from Austin. They plant a variety of seeds and have multiple dirt tanks that even had water during the heart of the drought all around the property.

Work was keeping me overly busy and I just didn't use it enough to justify the cost & drive. Great place though if you have the time to use it.
