We bought a couple hundred acres just SW of Bangs last Oct. We have a decent amount of deer. Lots of turkey & hogs. Dove hunting can be great. Ducks on ponds.

You'll probably pay around 12/acre. Lots of deer and lots of poachers depending how far you are off the road. Lots of deer though. If your camp is wired, then thiefs will look for the transformer, which indicates a camp, and will follow the power lines to your camp. Our camp is over a mile from any road and remote, so we have yet to have any issues. Good luck!

Yep. The Sherrifs have said the thiefs, poachers and druggies look for a transformer they can see from a road. If they can see the transformer, they know there is a camp. So they just stake out from the CR to make sure no one is there. On old lease, you could see then power line and transformer from the road and we got hit 2 times. Now our camp is over a mile from the county road and have had zero issues. These guys want quick and easy escape.
