I was fortunate enough to be able to get the opportunity to go on quite a few staff rides this past 9 months. This trip was in mid February, and it was quite cold outside. Our group visited the MacArthur memorial on Wolmi Island, as well as to the sites of the landing and others in the immediate area. I have to say that I am quite impressed with the way that the Koreans have managed to capture the intensity of the moments during the landing in their sculptures and monuments.

Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

Very cool pics...what's amazing about the Incheon landing is the tidal flow. The timing had to be exact or you would be stuck in the mud flats.
