Who will be hunting with decoys/calling vs. a feeder without decoys? Not criticizing, just curiosity more than anything...

I still refuse to kill a turkey under a feeder.
If I can't call one in, then it ain't gonna happen, but I will use a decoy.

Not against either but I prefer to keep it simple. I will use a decoys with my kids sometimes but when alone I go bare.

Have been using decoys for over 30 years. some times I do not put out decoys and have hunted around feeders, but not at them. quite often though will start the day between a feeder and roosting area.

How ever you hunt them, just enjoy, spring turkey hunting is fun

I haven't seen many toms come in gobbling and strutting to a good lookin' feeder before. Maybe some do but again I haven't seen it. When they see that sexy decoy and hear those clucks, purrs, and yelps though, it's on. Calling turkey in the spring is my favorite type of hunting. Nothing quite like it.

The whole point of spring gobbler season is to call one in. Keep your feeders going to feed the birds, but hunting them is boring and defeats the purpose.

Hunting over a feeder is like pass shooting for sandhill cranes...it's ok!
This is what I live for! And the same with turkeys!

I've called in a hundred over the years. Yes the gobbling is an adrenaline rush but this weekend I will be set up at my feeder, with a decoy and my bow. I haven't hunted turkey in years because calling them into a shotgun was too easy. Whether you lure them with food or sex it's still a lure. If I can kill one or two with my bow then most likely I will never hunt them again. However I still love the gobble in the mornings at the lease or lake.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
