I guess I'd have to buy a few new USED guns.
$1000 Browning Citori O/U 12ga (unless a comparable Beretta O/U fits better) $750 Colt 1911 $450 Remington 700 (hopefully w/ scope) $100 bow $100 mystery gun $100 mystery gun
No, scratch that... maybe:
$1700 used Beretta O/U that I use $700 Colt 1911 $100 Bow
This is hard. I guess I'd probably end up borrowing one of my grandpa's hand me down rifles.

1. M-1 Garand - $525 2. Ithaca M37 12 ga. - $250 3. Yugo M57 Tokarev - $250 4. FN Mauser .30-06 w/ scope - $600
Total: $1625
I'd use the rest for 7 cans (1400 rds) of .30-06 HXP, 200 rds. 7.62x25 Tok, and 100 rds. 12 gauge 00 buck.
It was REALLY hard for me not to go with my Yugo Mauser in 8mm instead of the Garand. I only went with the Garand for the fact of ammo continuity (with the FN Mauser) and ammo availabilty.....30-06 is everywhere! Though, the Achilles Heel of the Garand are the enblocs. A bolt-action can go all day without a mag or clip.

I don't think the poster included any glass on his two rifles. That could easily bump his 2500 over to 3500

Remington had a package going with walmart at the time and the 700 came with a non marked Nikon on it.. I don't use scopes with AR-15's... at least not yet, I want to master the irons first.

Very Nice Idea's guys! for the record you didn't have to include ammo, this thread is just for fun... However, it doesn't hurt to be practical!

1 SVI open pistol. Can I get a bigger budget?
