Monty ain't lying guys (as if you need me to tell you that) but this land is hog rich, and you will see way too many deer there too.
Next opportunity I have I plan on seeing if this is still open for hog hunting because it is almost a guarantee to see some action and the place is so wide open you can spot the animals a long way off and move in on them...NV coupled with thermal will give best results as you can spot with thermal and use the NV to finish them off, but anyone with night capable gun will likely find success.
Monty, I might be able to get out there last weekend of March (way too much going on between now and then), I will call you before to see if it is still open for hog hunting.

Hey everyone, I just joined the forum. Been into guns for a while but just now getting into hunting. Want to get some experience with hogs and deer, none of 'freinds' share this same enthusiasm so i am here looking to make some new ones and get out there and help clear somem hogs. I am local to north texas so any info would be great! Thanks in advance!
