Academy Sports in North Garland has several boxes of 22 lr. some 100 ct boxes and some 50 ct boxes

The market is driving this behavior, too many out there willing to pay whatever anyone is charging. The "gotta have it now at all costs" crowd is doing the damage.

Somebody is going to make a profit at it. Lots out there are trying.

Nice find. I found that going to my local range when they first open will allow me (usually) to enjoy a trouble free morning of shooting, and 1 500-525rd box of 22. I don't have to ration my sons that way. It also goes fast since my wife decided that shooting with her 3 boys is just as fun as whatever she did while we were at the range. I don't hoard, but we don't want/have to search doing that. I just smile at those who are sitting outside retailers in line while I am either out running in the am, or driving to work, must be nice

Academy in south Arlington had hundreds of 50ct boxes of 22lr this morning.

Federal 50ct boxes were $2.29 each. They still have the two box per customer limit.
