Today I met Forest Faye in Wichita Falls to pick up the casket made for us to donate to a Veteran who needed it. It never fails, when I visit with Forest, I leave feeling like a better person just for knowing him. He is one great guy. As I am driving down U.S. 287 with a casket in the back of my truck, I am getting a lot of stares. One vehicle kept getting beside me then passing, then falling back again. They finally passed me and happened to stop at the same truck stop I stopped at. I parked next to them and the guy and his Wife gets out and asks me if that is really a casket. For those of you that know me, you probably know whats coming next. I told him "Yep, that's my buddy. We are taking our last road trip together." After he picked his jaw off the ground, I then told him the truth. He told me that the reason they were behind me so long is he has posted tons of pictures of the truck with the casket in back all over snapchat. After I left the truck stop, I headed to Walmart in Vernon where I met several of my Patriot Guard Brothers. They then escorted me to Mr. Orval Tyson (the recipient of the casket) house. We then met him and he was very grateful as was his Daughter. It was such an Honor to give this to a Veteran and to save them and their Family several thousand dollars. That's why I started the Hunting with Soldiers program. Me and my Team love helping our Soldiers and Disabled Veterans. There are more things in life that mean much more than money. The feeling you get in your heart is what makes you rich.
