Just wanted to share my recent find/buy.

I was looking for a .30 cal for my hog hunting hobby and
I was about to buy another AK when this popped up in our local classifieds.

Bushmaster LR-308 MOE factory built. 7.92 lbs unloaded. 34" collapsed length

16" 4150 chrome lined Chamber & bore BMP 1/10 7.62x51
Mid-length gas system
I would call it a medium/heavy profile barrel, it is thicker under the hand guards, and tapers down to .750 after the gas block.

Only thing I did was add a oring to the extractor spring and add a Leupold VXR 1.25-4 and Burris pepr mount. 11.5 oz & 8.7oz

Weight unloaded, according to manufacturer specs from these direct sources.
http://www.leupold.com/hunting-shooting/scopes/vx-r-riflescopes/vx-r-1-25-4x20mm-includes-metric/
http://www.bushmaster.com/firearms/moe_series.asp
http://www.burrisoptics.com/arpepr.html

Should weigh in at 9.18 lbs unloaded, then add 1.5 for a loaded pmag 10.6 lbs loaded!
I will confirm once I have a scale I can trust.

I have taken it hunting already but didn't get to shoot a hog, but shot some for accuracy off truck bed and was getting around 2" at 100yds with PPU 168 OTM. Plenty good for what I do. A free floater will be added in the future though and maybe an adjustable gas block and suppressor, hopefully.
Also was banging steel at 200 and 300 yards with 147gr ball pretty easily. Head sized target. Has been thru 200 rounds with out a hiccup. From steel cased Tula and 6 other ammo types I've used.

Thanks Chad. Probably will hit you up for some match ammo once I get it free floating to see what it is truly capable of.

Nice, my POF 1:10 twist loves Chad's 168 Amax ammo. Wish mine only weighed 10 pounds LOL.

That should take care of them. I almost bought that scope in the bigger size last week. It looks to be an awesome scope!

I basically have the same setup in 223, and the sight post does not get in the way.

That looks like a "stalk through the big woods in search of hogs" rifle.

I like it! up

I'd also like to see what it'll do at 500 yards...but that's my sickness.

Nice stick!! Got one myself that I tricked out a little. It'll make a heck of a deer rifle too.

So, you can see the front site when it's zoomed back to 1.25 (1.5 is actual zoom, for some reason they mark it wrong).
But it isn't in the way at all.

And it's for hunting out to 300 at most, but it has the ummph to make hits to 1000 yards, from what I have been reading, just need the zoom to see out further.
I stalk around a lot and this gun was perfect for it.

I'm glad you put it up though. I'll take good care of it.

Thanks again
