Yes and the same buck you have in the other thread in velvet. Appears to be some sort of velvet antler damage on that one beam. Be interested to see if he does it this year.

Your saying this buck and the one on the Moose/Deer post are one in the same ?? I had to blow the bottom picture up alot to get a clearer picture of him.I guess it could be the same buck in all 3 pictures, but something dont add up.

IMO they are all the same very mature buck. You can see the bottom notch in the bucks left ear.

Im 54 and my eyes are not as good as they use to be ..I will take your educated guess and say the are all the same buck...I guess its just different angles of the camera that make it look like these are 3 different bucks.

I am 57 but we all look at pics and try to make out as many big bucks or different bucks as we can. Just human nature. But if you did not have the antlers to look at I would still say off of body shape and size alone those 3 bucks are the same buck. I would also say it is the same buck in velvet in your other thread. I have looked at 10's of 1,000's if not more of TC pics of deer per year. I would not want to guess how many over the last 22 yrs of using TC's. Sometimes the angle they are at or the angle the hold their head makes them appear different from one pic to the next. Beam shape, long browtines, browtines bow backwards, the long G2s/3s, kicker on the right G2, notch in the bottom of the left ear, the nontypical rack on the left side, the double rowed point on the left all appear to be the same in all pics. What really is important is that that is one stud of a really mature buck.

I will buy I into that simply because I have never owned or used trail camera's until last year. So I will be the first to say I'm not that good at judging tc pictures.Looking for opinions like your is what I was after..thanks for taking the time to look at them.

Same buck for sure. Look the way the G2 & G3 split on the left. That's a for sure sign to me. I have a hard time convincing some people at my place that some of the deer are the same deer in additional pictures, just takes some studying and you will recognize them at any angle. I run a lot of cameras and will have around 10,000 pictures +/- to go through at times. I would sure love to have a picture of that one!
If ducks had horns I'd probably be a duck hunter. I am a horrible deer hunter. Probably the worst. Ever.

The palmatted area goes almost all the way up to the tip of the tines in the Moose Picture ..in the other picture the tine length is longer but I guess he lost that after losing the velvet.

What you are seeing in the "Moose" picture is webbing that is common on bucks that have multiple tines close together. If you look closely you can see the webbing is thin and there is not any antler material in the webbing areas above the beam or in between the tines.

That's a monster for Grimes County.
I'd like to shoot him, please. Let me know when/where.

I know of a 190"+ class NT LF deer killed in Grimes County from a few years back. There are big deer in a lot areas that are never reported or killed.

Just throwing this out here but from the looks of his rack he was probably a deer consider to be one of the dreaded basket bucks un-shootable because of AR's until maybe even the year before this pic. Im not saying Iam for or against AR's but have seen a lot of big deer that probably wouldn't have met legal criteria until they were very mature.
