Recently saw an ad for Spartan shotguns and learned they are a part of Remington. Went to their website and they have good prices on over/under and side by sides.

Does anyone own one or have firsthand experience with this line of shotguns?

Thanks for any information.

One of the guys that I hunt with just bought one. Looks like a pretty decent shotgun. He didn't hit any dove opening day. Didn't hit any ducks opening day either. I don't think that it was due to the gun LOL.

I am 99% certain that its made by Huglu. They are "ok" but for a few bucks less you can still get Huglu and Bakails which are about the same thing. They stuck remington on it and jacked up the price. Personally I would prefer to spend a little extra to get a ruger, beretta, browning, etc.
